- Member Relations Manager

Are you a relationship-builder, educator, and problem-solver with a passion for supporting rural broadband providers? NTCA is seeking a Member Relations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be the face of NTCA—connecting deeply with members, guiding them through the association’s services and benefit programs, and ensuring they feel supported, informed, and empowered.
What You’ll Do
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with member companies
- Promoting NTCA membership and benefit program participation
- Providing guidance on employee benefit plan design and administration
- Conducting retirement consultations and benefit education sessions
- Serving as a liaison between members and NTCA staff to resolve issues
- Developing and delivering presentations and training at industry events, webinars, and workshops
- Traveling regularly to member locations and industry meetings
- Representing NTCA with professionalism and warmth to enhance our reputation
- Assist NTCA members in the service territory of: Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and the Northeast (CT, DE, DC, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT)

Requirements
Experience We are Looking for Candidates to Bring
- Solid understanding of employee benefit programs, insurance and retirement plans, and HR practices
- Familiarity with the rural telecommunications industry
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and public speaking skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, relatable way
- Strong marketing, selling, and presentation development skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and related software
- High level of independence, initiative, and discretion
- Willingness to travel frequently, including some weekends and holidays
- Bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years of relevant experience
